Last Bullet 2025 Movie Review
Last Bullet concludes the French Bullet trilogy with explosive action, heightened stakes, and a satisfying emotional payoff. Retaining the series’ signature intensity, it delivers exhilarating car chases, brutal hand-to-hand combat, and a fast-paced narrative that rivals Hollywood blockbusters while preserving its gritty European flair.
The film ties up Lino’s (Alban Lenoir) tumultuous journey, culminating in the long-overdue arrest of corrupt cop Areski (Nicolas Duvauchelle). It opens far from France, with Areski hiding in a German timber factory, smuggling drugs and weapons for his new boss. His fragile cover is blown when Alexander Resz (Gérard Lanvin), viewing him as a liability, orders a hit. Areski escapes and seeks out his estranged wife, Stella (Anne Serra), and young son, Thomas.
Meanwhile, Lino is transferred to French authorities after a tense prisoner exchange involving corrupt cop Alvaro and Spanish police. Back in France, Julia (Stéfi Celma) offers him shelter and a job under Sarah’s supervision. But when Lino learns Areski is alive, his grief and fury reignite, thrusting him back into a relentless pursuit.
Bigger, bolder, and more emotionally resonant, Last Bullet delivers closure with unrelenting action and a story that brings Lino’s saga full circle.
