Lucifer 2 ( L2 Empuraan ) 2025 Movie Review
Following Jithin Ramdas’s (Tovino Thomas) appointment as Chief Minister, Stephen Nedumpally, alias Abraham Qureshi (Mohanlal), departs Kerala for foreign shores. Before completing his five-year term, Jithin abandons his father’s legacy and the UFI party, launching a new political outfit. He forges an alliance with the Hindutva leader Baba Bajrangi (Abhimanyu Singh), a move fiercely opposed by his sister, Priyadarshini (Manju Warrier).
As Kerala’s political stability falters, many plead for Stephen Nedumpally’s return to rescue the state. But then, shocking news breaks: he’s reportedly been killed in an assault on a drug cartel in Iraq. Is Stephen truly dead? What has Abraham Qureshi—known to Keralites as Stephen Nedumpally—been up to? How has he shaped the nation’s political landscape? Why are intelligence agencies from multiple countries hunting him? What role does he play in Kerala’s power struggles? What fuels the tension between Zayed Masood (Prithviraj Sukumaran) and Baba Bajrangi? And how does it all resolve? The answers await in the film.
